The N7 Initiative, a partnership between the Atlantic Council and the Jeffrey M. Talpins Foundation, concluded the N7 Conference on Trade, held in Bahrain from July 10-11, 2023. The conference was held with the support of the Ministry of Affairs of the Kingdom of Bahrain.
At the conference, high-level government officials and private sector representatives from Bahrain, the United Arab Emirates, Israel, Morocco, Egypt, Sudan, and the United States explored the possibility of a multilateral regional free-trade agreement among the N7 countries. The conference discussed the benefits a multilateral agreement would bring to each participating country and to all the people of the region, and the steps toward such an agreement.
