The N7 Initiative, a partnership between the Atlantic Council and the Jeffrey M. Talpins Foundation, was scheduled to convene the N7 Summit on Regional Economic Integration in Tel Aviv, Israel, from October 10–12, 2023, engaging senior government officials from the N7 countries and other Arab and Muslim nations, including representatives from eight Muslim-majority countries, as well as 18 members of Congress, U.S. administration officials, business and finance executives, and other global stakeholders. The Summit was designed to explore how deeper regional economic integration, investment, and cross-border partnerships could accelerate growth and address shared challenges across the Middle East and North Africa, while developing policy recommendations to advance regional prosperity. The gathering was ultimately canceled following the October 7 terrorist attacks.
